•The Shipmen. Warrior folk of the Great Empire. Fled Aduria before the fall.
•The Woodfolk. The first people of Cerilia.
•The Northmen. A migratory people who populated the northern coasts of Cerilia.
•Easterners, from the fleshpots of Kesh.
•A sister race of the Adanians from Aduria.
•A northern race migrated from Aduria during the time of the Ancients. Savage followers of Naar, they are responsible for the downfall of the High Kingdom.
•A conflicted people far to the northeast in Cerilia, the only area never to fall to the High Kingdom.
Languages of the Hundred Kingdoms
Kingspeech (The Common Tongue/Argot) – a derivative language of Adanian, mixed with words from all peoples who once were ruled by the Empire.
Old Adanian (Adan) – original language of the Shipmen. Still spoken by many commoners in southern Anuire.
Cymri (The Forest Speech) – Language of the Woodfolk. Heavily influenced by their time with the Aldori.
High Masite (Maecite/Scholars Tongue) – Language of the west, still in use by scholars and the Church. Many original scholastic institutions used the complex and well developed language of the Maecites in preference to Old Adanian.
Keshite (Eastspeech) – an amalgamation of several tongues and linguistic histories from the east.
Pict (The Hillmen tongue) – spoken north of the Giantdowns.
Vos – speech of the Vosmen.
Naarite (The Black Speech) – spoken by followers of Naar.
Dornish – spoken by the northmen of the Great Bay.
